WICCI Delhi Travel & Tourism Council in association with TAAI organizes a Vaccination Drive for Northern Region Members on 12th & 13th June 2021.

TAAI Northern Region has taken the initiative to support the drive & help members & the travel industry to get themselves, their staff & families vaccinated, under the able leadership of President, Mrs. Jyoti Mayal, on 12th & 13th June 2021 (Saturday & Sunday). Mrs. Jyoti Mayal President TAAI a strong supporter of women-led initiatives was requested to have a collaboration with WICCI Delhi Travel & Tourism Council and proactively Mrs. Mayal agreed.

Vaccine - Covishield

TAAI has subsidized the cost for the vaccine to Rs. 650/- per person for 2 people only for TAAI members.

For everyone else, the standard pricing would be Rs. 1150/- per person.

All payments should be made in advance and no payments will be collected at the venue. The payment is non-refundable.

Please note that all members must be registered on Aarogya Setu App or on the Co-WIN Portal https://www.cowin.gov.in/home and should obtain their registration reference number.
Last date for registration for TAAIs Vaccination Drive is Thursday, June 10, 2021 (7 PM).

Registration is open for both 1st and 2nd doses. Please note that the 2nd dose of Covishield can only be taken if 84 days (12 weeks) have passed since the 1st dose. People who have taken the Covaxin vaccine (manufactured by Bharat Biotech) for their 1st dose CANNOT take the Covishield vaccine for their 2nd dose. The vaccination drive will strictly follow all rules and protocols outlined by the Government of India.

Triund is a once in a life-time trek experience especially for the first-timers.

Our First- time trekker Kunwaraj Singh who went for a trek for the first time came back with this to say, "I was very excited about my first trekking experience with my friends. We decided to do the Triund valley trek which started from a base camp near Mcleodganj. Having explored Mcleodganj for a day, we started our trek the next morning. The freshness and cool breeze was the first thing we all cherished.

"The best part was that being first-timers there we were glad we chose a moderate trek. Crossing clear water streams and sitting on rocks overlooking the valley while taking a break was blissful.

"Finally, when we reached base camp 2 at the Triund valley and saw the sunset, we were left awestruck and that is a moment which will always stay with me. Next morning, we clicked a few pictures of the mesmerising sunrise that gave the river an orange shade. We went back to base camp 1 and this trek was relatively easier as it was a downhill trek.

"Being in the arms of nature never felt that soothing to us before and what I enjoyed the most was the peace and quietness of nature. Coming back with such beautiful memories and an amazing experience, I have decided to plan a trek this year as well.

Keen on taking a new challenge this time!"
