Strategic Milestone Achieved | MoU Signing with Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla

Bapu’s Shipping Jamnagar Pvt. Ltd., a flagship company of the Bapu’s Group of Companies, is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla, marking a significant step toward the establishment of a state-of-the-art Shipbuilding Facility capable of constructing vessels up to 120 meters LOA.

This strategic alliance reflects a shared vision to advance India’s maritime and shipbuilding capabilities through collaboration, innovation, and infrastructure development.

The initiative represents a landmark move toward strengthening India’s shipbuilding ecosystem and supporting the national vision of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Viksit Bharat 2047.”

We are thrilled to announce that Bapus Group has received the prestigious Green Initiative Award in Ship Bunkering at the Stakeholders Felicitation Ceremony on National Maritime Day, April 5, 2025. The award was presented by Chairman Shri Sushil Kumar Singh in recognition of our commitment to sustainable maritime operations. 🚢💚

In collaboration with Deendayal Port Authority, we’ve signed an MoU to develop bio-methanol bunkering services at Kandla Port, positioning it as a key Methanol bunkering point in the Rotterdam-Singapore Green Shipping Corridor—making it the first Indian port in this global network! 🌍⚓

As Chairman Shri Sushil Kumar Singh emphasized: “This would make Kandla Port the first in India to feature in the world’s green shipping corridors.” 🌱

"25 GLORIOUS YEAR JOURNEY OF BAPU’S GROUP OF COMPANIES"
Bapu’s Group of Companies celebrated 25 glorious years of success on February 19, 2023. In their keynote address, Shri Bhupendrasinh Jadeja and Shri Vishansinh Jadeja dedicated the group’s growth to their beloved father, the late Shri Dilipsinhji Narendrasinhji Jadeja, who visualized and laid the platform for the group to become an integral part of his grand vision in the shipping industry with the objective of achieving success with values.
The emerging entrepreneurs took their first step in the journey in 1997, marking the beginning of a new era with an unstoppable journey of creativity, consistency, and determination to achieve landmarks. The group's core values, vision, and mission are embedded as a route map and compass for both individuals and teams to become the most reliable and trusted associate for owners and operators worldwide.
The group has advanced since 1997, year by year, with diversification in ship chandelling, container repairing, real estate, bonded godowns, lubricants distribution agency, automobile sector, sea and road transportation by owned barges and tugs for fresh water and bunker supplies, developing state-of-the-art dry dock facilities, etc.
In a grand function, the directors of the group felicitated employees, thanking them for their support, dedication, and hard work. The group also announced a series of welfare measures for its valuable dedicated team.
