I AM A TOURISM GUIDE
And COVID-19 infected my work.
They cancelled all kinds of events, travel, services and contact with people, my work is affected, there are no tourists who want to travel due to fear and governmental measures.
Sadly, the whole world and the people in the middle were infected or quarantine to know who it was and who wasn't.
As tour guides, we tend not to have stable jobs, but we learn to save all the coins, because you don't know when the next tour will be.
They usually hire us with no benefits, there's no health insurance for free guides, not to mention a Christmas bonus or a government pension.
Usually we are in limbo, the imbalance is part of the routine.
But one day, when it seems like your life is stabilizing, part of each person's payments and has work for dozens of guides, you can pay the bills, doing what you studied for life: " # Coronavirus " comes and everything is cancelled.
We all came like a bucket of cold water in the back... and now I have a lot of doubts, what's going to happen?
How long will it last? What should we do? How long will I last?
All that's left is to keep going, because I know that the guides always survive and we will get ahead.
It's the guides that convey the culture, stories and legends, traditions and experiences to a country full of hope.
If you're a guide and you're in the tourism activity, copy and paste. ....... Let's see what our authorities, that don't generate appropriate policies for our work to have the benefits of some other sectors. God bless you all and God wants it to end soon. Hugs, friends, family and colleagues. 🇮🇳
