*More than 3,200 Excluded 'Ladli Behanas' from Talasari tehsil of Thane-Palghar district join the Struggle!*

The second public meeting in the statewide campaign being conducted by the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) for the nearly one crore women who have been excluded from and cheated by the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Scheme was held today, 21 September 2026, in Talasari tehsil.

More than 3,200 women attended the large meeting. Addressing the gathering were AIDWA national vice president Mariam Dhawale, state general secretary Prachi Hatiwlekar, district and state leaders Lahani Dauda, Sunita Shingada, Savita Davare and others.

The meeting resolved that thousands of these excluded Ladli Behanas will participate in the statewide march on Mantralaya in Mumbai, demanding justice for all women who have been excluded from the Scheme.

*3,000 excluded 'Ladli Behna' beneficiaries from Dahanu Tehsil of Thane-Palghar District set to Fight under AIDWA Banner*

The AIDWA in Maharashtra is conducting a statewide campaign for the 92 lakh eligible women who were excluded from the Chief Minister’s Ladli Behna scheme without being given any reason. As part of the campaign, women’s gatherings began across Maharashtra on September 20, 2026.

Here are some photographs from a massive gathering of more than 3,000 women in Dahanu taluka of Thane-Palghar district. Mariam Dhawale, Prachi Hatiwlekar, Lahani Dauda, and Sunita Shingada addressed the gathering. Similar gatherings will be held in all other talukas of the district and then in all districts of the state.

At the gathering, the AIDWA leadership announced its decision to organize a massive March to Mantralaya in Mumbai, bringing together thousands of women from across Maharashtra who have been excluded from the scheme. This announcement was greeted by thousands of women present with loud slogans and enthusiastic support.

SFI achieved a resounding victory in the student union elections at Kerala and Kannur Universities. Young women worked alongside SFI with boundless enthusiasm. Winning 115 out of the 148 college union elections contested across both universities stands as thrilling proof of the trust the student community places in SFI. Students delivered a fitting reply to those who attempted to suppress democratic student protests through the arrogance of power. Today Jatha was started from Palakurti. Palakurti is a village where Ilamma raises her voice against Visnur Deshmukh Ramachandra Reddy. He was dora having 50000 acres of land in those days. When the dora tried to occupy Ilammas land, she approach the Andhra mahasabha leaders. The leadership fought back the doras gundas and helped her. In this fight Swarajyam also an active participant. General Secretary Kaninika Ghosh garlanded Ilamma statue and inaugurated the Jatha. AIDWA Vice President S Punyavathi, AIDWA Telangana State Secretary, Mallulaxmi and Aruna Jyoti along with Sarala and Ashalata were leading the Jatha.

In Simla, HimachalPradesh All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) organized a march to the Secretariat today regarding the shifting of Kamala Nehru Hospital. A meeting was held with the state's Deputy Chief Minister, who gave an assurance that the matter would be discussed during the Cabinet meeting on September.22.
