Shri Samuel Praveen Kumar, Director (Marketing & Corporate Planning), Shri B. Nirmal, Executive Director (Commercial), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), New Delhi and Ms Sonali Gawai , Sr. GM , CWC , RO Mumbai held a meeting with Shri Lalit Kumar Gupta, CMD, Cotton Corporation of India (CCI), and his team of senior officers at CCI Headquarters, Navi Mumbai, to review preparedness for the upcoming Kharif Marketing Season 2026–27, with particular emphasis on the smooth and efficient ex*****on of cotton procurement operations under Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The discussions focused on assessing operational preparedness, strengthening coordination between CWC and CCI and finalising a coordinated action plan to facilitate the seamless handling of the anticipated cotton procurement this season . Key areas of deliberation included the timely availability of adequate and suitable warehousing space, efficient storage and scientific preservation of cotton bales , safety audit of warehouses , logistics and transportation arrangements and the establishment of effective coordination mechanisms to address various operational challenges promptly.

हिंदी पखवाड़ा समापन एवं पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह

केंद्रीय भंडारण निगम में हिंदी पखवाड़ा का समापन समारोह गरिमापूर्ण वातावरण में आयोजित किया गया। इस अवसर पर हिंदी के प्रति रचनात्मक अभिरुचि एवं कार्यालयीन कार्यों में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रयोग को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से पखवाड़े के दौरान आयोजित विभिन्न हिंदी प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेता प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।

समारोह का प्रमुख आकर्षण सुप्रसिद्ध कवि श्री दिनेश बावरा की काव्य प्रस्तुति रही। उनकी ओजपूर्ण एवं भावपूर्ण रचनाओं ने उपस्थितजनों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया और समारोह में साहित्यिक गरिमा एवं उल्लास का संचार किया।

इस अवसर पर निगम में राजभाषा कार्यों के डिजिटलीकरण एवं ज्ञान-संसाधनों की सुलभ उपलब्धता की दिशा में दो महत्वपूर्ण पहलों का शुभारंभ किया गया। प्रबंध निदेशक महोदय के कर-कमलों द्वारा ‘ईआरपी राजभाषा पोर्टल’ एवं डिजिटल लाइब्रेरी ‘ज्ञान सागर 2.0’ का शुभारंभ किया गया।

ईआरपी राजभाषा पोर्टल के माध्यम से राजभाषा संबंधी कार्यों की प्रगति की निगरानी, रिपोर्टिंग एवं विभिन्न गतिविधियों के प्रभावी अनुश्रवण को एकीकृत डिजिटल मंच प्राप्त होगा। वहीं, ‘ज्ञान सागर 2.0’ निगम के हिंदी एवं राजभाषा संबंधी साहित्य, प्रकाशनों तथा ज्ञान-संसाधनों को एक ही डिजिटल मंच पर सुलभ कराने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।

केंद्रीय भंडारण निगम की ये पहलें राजभाषा हिंदी को आधुनिक तकनीक से जोड़ते हुए ‘डिजिटल राजभाषा’ की ओर एक सार्थक कदम हैं।

Capacity Building Programme on “Preventive Vigilance” was successfully organized by Regional Office, Chandigarh & Panchkula, from 29th to 30th September 2026, under the guidance of Ms. Aprajita Sharrma, Chief Vigilance Officer, CWC, as part of the CVC’s three-month campaign (17th August–16th November 2026) in connection with Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, on the theme “Probity for Prosperity” – “सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि”.

The programme featured eminent speakers and domain experts who shared valuable insights on Cyber Security & Cyber Hygiene, Public Procurement, GeM, and Conduct Rules.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officials of Regional Offices, Warehouses and other Units of CWC, through both physical and virtual modes.

CWC successfully conducted its *2nd Finance Executive Meet 2026* at Shillong, Meghalaya, on 2–3 October 2026, with participation of Finance Heads from Regional Offices and senior officials from Corporate Office. The event was graced by Sh. Niraj Priyadershi, Director (Finance).

Director (Finance) advised Finance HoDs to work as business partner and provide solutions to various problems. He stressed upon to adopt new technologies and financial concepts. The Meet also focused on *knowledge sharing, Half-Yearly Closing preparedness, SAP ERP developments, upcoming modules and resolution of day-to-day operational challenges* faced by ROs.

The occasion also celebrated the *successful completion of one year of SAP ERP implementation in CWC*, acknowledging the collective efforts of the Finance team towards digital transformation and process improvement.

As part of the "Preventive Vigilance Campaign 2026", the Vigilance Division, Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Corporate Office, New Delhi, organised an Essay Writing Competition on 28th September 2026 on the theme "Probity for Prosperity" "सत्यनिष्ठा से समृद्धि", as part of the observance of 2026, from 26th October to 1st November 2026.

The competition aimed to encourage participants to uphold integrity, promote transparency, and foster a culture of accountability and probity in public life.
