भिवंडी शहरात बुधवारी रात्री मारहाणीच्या घटनेत एका एसटीचालकाचा मृत्यू झाला. प्रभाकर गायकवाड असे या मृत एसटीचालकाचे नाव असून त्याला स्थानिक रिक्षाचालकांनी मारहाण केली होती. प्रवीण गायकवाड हे एसटी घेऊन डेपोत जात असताना डेपोच्या गेटवर एक रिक्षा उभी होती. त्यावेळी गायकवाड यांनी रिक्षाचालकाला बाजूला हटण्यास सांगितले. मात्र, यावरून रिक्षाचालकाने गायकवाड यांच्याशी हुज्जत घालण्यास सुरूवात केली. या वादाचे पर्यवसन हाणामारीत झाले. यावेळी आजूबाजूला असलेल्या अन्य रिक्षाचलकांनीही प्रवीण गायकवाड यांना बेदम मारहाण केली. या सगळ्या घटनेनंतर प्रवीण गायकवाड तक्रार नोंदविण्यासाठी पोलीस ठाण्यात गेले होते. त्यावेळी अचानक चक्कर येऊन ते खाली कोसळले. त्यानंतर गायकवाड यांना तातडीने रूग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले. मात्र, उपचारादरम्यान त्यांचा मृत्यू झाला. दरम्यान, या घटनेच्या निषेधार्थ आज भिवंडीत बसचालकांनी बंद पुकारला आहे.

Today Morning, 24 July 2013, there was a jam near Mankoli,
Again now days situation is worst and pathetic its too difficult to catch the bus at Thane depot, ST management needs to put their attention to make some improvement.
Since this is Ramazan month most of the people wants to reach home early and which makes heavy rush in evening time, and buses dosent play on time.

Today, 9th April 2012, there is a massive traffic jam on Bhiwandi Thane bypass highway between Mankoli and Diva Villages, people have returned back to Bhiwandi and took alternate route.
The cause has been noticed there was crash of heavy trailor with a bus.
Suggestion: please confirm the traffic clearence before you take this route even in evening while returning back.

This week is horrible, the bus fleet system again became mess, the buses fleets again are infrequent, we have to wait hours an hours to catch the buses, especially in the evening time at Thane, yesterday we had a seen there and literally we insisted to depot controller from the chamber to see the rush, earlier he was denying to sent the Thane depot bus saying the Bhiwandi fleets done by Bhiwandi depot and they don’t allow us to operate our buses, but as per Bhiwandi buses has been sent for some Satsang (religious seminar)
I have again made a complaint, I don’t how much it is effectible but this is the only thing we can do for all of us.

Last night (12/10/2011) there was a massive traffic on the Thane - Bhiwandi bypass, we had a very tought time, there was a zero moment in traffic from Pimpalas cut to Bypass square, litrelly people walked down for 45 minuits to an hour in the heavliy rainfall to reach home.
