BMTC The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation or popularly called BMTC is the lifeline of public It was formed in 1997!

Initially called BTS (Bangalore Transport Service) was a part of KSRTC and due to the new requirements caused by the development of Bangalore city, evolved in BMTC. Basically, KSRTC handles all public transport to places outside Bangalore and BMTC caters to the commuters within the City.
