Episode 2 : exploring Bengaluru by metro | Mahalaxmi metro station

If you are looking for a weekend plan and don't own any vehicle this could be the next stop for you.

Stop 1 : Reach mahalaxmi metro station and walk for 300 meter to reach Are Veer Anjaneya Swami temple with a 22 feet tall Hanuman ji idol and 6.5-foot gold-plated copper Kalasham on the temple's main Vimana Gopuram.

No tickets for temple.

Stop 2 :- Walk for 260 meters to reach Mari Tirupati Srinivasa Gudi

TICKET PRICE : 50 rs (including museum and jalabhishek)

The temple features a 6-story Rajagopura. Visitors can take an elevator to the top and walk down the stairs, passing through beautifully crafted dioramas and models that depict the Dashavatara (10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu), the Srinivasa Kalyanam (the Lord's divine wedding), and various Krishna Leelas.
One can also perform jalabhishekam.

Stop 3 :- Book a rapido and reach iskcon temple

No ticket

Stop 4 :- again book a Rapido and reach orion mall.

Recommended:-
Shop at go fresh for groceries, condiments and breads.
Uncle peters white chocolate waffles and Belgium hot chocolate.

If you wish you can also visit Rameshwaram cafe which is walkable from Orion mall.

You can take the metro back from sandle soap factory metro station which is walkable from Orion.

Need a weekend plan??

If you are new to Bengaluru or don't wanna travel by bike or car, this is for you.

Reach at Madavara metro station and take a 10 minute ride and reach at you 1st stop shree Maruti Dham temple, calm, peaceful. (No ticket)

Again book a 10 minute ride to Vishwa Shanti Ashram and get amazed by the beauty of ashram, 108 feet tall visha swaroopa of lord Vishnu, serene environment. (20 rs ticket)

Now take a direct ride from here to IKEA do some shopping, fill your stomach and take metro to dasarhalli.
Must try butter paneer and naan, butter croissant, guava icecream.

Just infront of the metro station there is lane which take you to the dasarhalli tank, spent some time here and head back to your home. (No ticket)
