Trip Update :

The trek by got cancelled sadly, and that meant we had an extra two days before starting the Spiti circuit.

Picked up from Kalpa, and headed to the remote village of Chitkul to chill for a couple of days.

The following 7 days have been a blur!

- Of memories fuelled by the adventure of riding through the Himalayas on a motorbike.

- Of the mesmerizing, constantly changing landscape that even would surely struggle to provide adjectives for

- Of being humbled by the hospitality shown by the locals, who live in the most inhospitable terrain possible

600 kms across and . Chitkul - Kalpa - Nako - Tabo - Kaza - Langza - Chandrataal - Manali. It has been beyond magical.

For now I relax in Manali for a day, and plot the plan for the last week of the

The first leg of is complete!

The long way North, 2900 kms spread across 5 days, from Bangalore through Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jhansi, Delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla to the beautiful village of Kalpa in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.

has been the true hero of this leg, taking everything thrown at her without breaking a sweat and hence gets a well earned break of a week while I embark on the trek over the coming week.

Along the way, we crossed the milestone of 50k kms, amidst the stifling heat of the plains, and met tons of amazing people who shoered us with love and wished us well on our journey.

The best part of touring by bike is the personal connects that you make on the way, and that makes it all worth it. 😊
