Ladies, while the is a great way to revive the sari as everyday wear, please do support this cause. There is a move by the government to repeal The Handloom Reservation Act which has been protecting the handloom weaves from being copied by the powerloom. The handloom industry is the second largest industry after agriculture that provides employment to millions. While globally people are looking to India for the unbelievably rich handloom and handicraft talent we have here, we have to fight our own government to keep this incredible talent alive.
