Dear Friends,
We are glad to announce that the Israeli government has decided to allow all tourist into Israel starting 1st of March 2022, both vaccinated and unvaccinated tourists of all ages will be allowed into the country. Tourists will be required to provide a negative PCR test within 72 hours before departure to Tel Aviv and to perform a PCR test upon arrival in Israel.
The official government directive has not been issued yet; it will be published in the next few days. We will update you with the latest regulations once they become available.
Additionally, as from the 1st of March 2022 travelers to Jordan will no longer need to perform a PCR test before departure to Jordan nor will they need to perform PCR test upon arrival at the airport in Amman, land borders or seaports. Nonetheless, travelers will still need to sign up on the (https://www.visitjordan.gov.jo/landplatform/ ) platform to receive their QR code for entry.
We very glad to see more and more groups landing in the country and are looking forward to a busy March in the Holy Land!

Israel cancels red countries, reopens its skies

As of January 9, 2022, vaccinated and recovered non-Israeli tourists from all countries will be allowed to enter Israel. The government decided to lift the travel ban and open the skies fully. By midnight January 6, 2022 all former Red list countries will move to the Orange list.

It is important to note that arrival to Israel is via Ben Gurion Airport Only. Arrival via land borders is not possible at the moment. Land Crossing from Israel to Egypt or Jordan can be coordinated

We hope you a had a blessed Holiday Season, we would like to share with you the below press release announcing that Israel will open its borders for all vaccinated travelers from orange countries effective 09 Jan 2022.

The Prime Minister and the Ministers of Health, Interior, Tourism and Transport concluded that, effective Sunday, 9.1.2022, vaccinated/recovered foreign nationals (according to the Ministry of Health's definitions) from countries on the orange list will be allowed to arrive in Israel, subject to filling out an online form ahead of time, taking a PCR or antigen test before boarding the flight, taking a PCR test upon arrival in Israel, following which they will go into isolation for 24 hours or until they test negative (whichever is earlier)

Christmas in Nazareth 🎄 🎅
Ho Ho Holy Land is celebrating Christmas. And it is going to be Awesome!
Like every year, people in the Holy Land will deck the halls with boughs of holly and welcome the season to be jolly, like others do worldwide. However, this coming season will be especially merry, as most of the covid-19 limitations have been lifted. Finally local Christians AND non-Christians will be able to attend feasts, visit each other and above all participate in several Christmas happenings taking place throughout the country. Those happenings last for a whole month in some towns and include Christmas markets, concerts, exhibits and even plays.
One of the best places to breathe the Christmas air and feel its joy is Nazareth, the town of Annunciation…that’s where the words “hail Mary” were said for the first time in history. Here in Nazareth Christmas celebrations will be launched on December 1st by lighting the Christmas tree. Then a series of happenings will follow, including an evening Christmas Market till the end of December, concerts, musicals, musica sacra performance and Christmas parade on Christmas Eve.
Nazareth is home for the largest Christian community in the Holy Land, therefore Christmas here feels very authentic and similar to Christmas in Europe and the States. That’s why People of all faiths attend these celebrations from all over the Holy Land in order to seize the chance of “feeling abroad”.
How about you? Don’t you want to feel part of these celebrations? Nowadays it’s easier and much more affordable to visit the Holy Land during and even after Christmas time…less crowded, more lenient covid-19 regulations and, above all, definite joy!

The Griffon vultures are veteran inhabitants of the Land of Israel. These Griffon are even mentioned multiple times in the Bible.
for example, The Griffon Vulture's long life is noticed in the well-known Bible passage, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:. . .who satisfied thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's" (Psalms 103. 1, 5).
the Griffon vultures are huge creatures whose wingspan can reach over 8 feet and whose diet relies on carcasses. we can find them mostly in the Judean Desert.

Have you visited Beit She'an antiquities before?
This is the Roman theater in Beit-She’an - spectacular ruins of the glory that was the Roman and Byzantine city of Beit She’an.
Here we can see part of the Roman theater – The Huge Theater of the city with the 7000 seat that was built at the end of the 2nd century CE.
The lower seats block, has survived in its entirety. Outside the theater a row of piers was found around the circumference that apparently supported a dome surrounding the theater from the outside, carrying a third block of seats.
The skene - the wall behind the stage, rose to a height of 21 m, the height of the seats.
