It is with saddness that we are announcing the closure of 'One Man And His Van' with immediate effect.
After 19 years in business, having survived the crash of the Celtic Tiger and Covid, we have been beaten by the huge increases in costs over the last year. Fuelled (excuse the pun) by the rise in fuel costs, insurance costs, tolls, ferries, wages, etc., as well as the downturn in business which we can only assume is associated with Brexit and the housing crisis here, we are left in a position whereby it is no longer viable to keep the show on the road (another pun).
We are thankful to all our many customers over the years, some of whom have become our friends, and our wonderful staff, who have made it a pleasure to carry on through tough times. We've had some great adventures which we will treasure. You never know, there may even be a book in the pipeline due to the experiences we've had!
So we're signing off for the last time and hope that the next adventure will be happy one.

(PS... Government take note that too many SME's are closing due to rising costs and no help. We'll see you on the doorstep come election time)
