Job Experienced Resin floor layer we are looking to recruit an Experienced Industrial Resin Floor Layer / Site Supervisor competent at laying heavy duty polyurethane & epoxy resin screeds, resin coatings & coved skirtings to a high level.

Required:
*Must have own transportation
*Must have Full B valid driver’s license
*Must have Safe pass
*Must have Manual handling
*Abrasive wheels

Some over nights
Occasionally weekends

Project Highlights – Hickey’s Bakery, Waterford
Scope: Full turnkey flooring installation
Duration: 3-day shutdown (with advance preparatory works)
A complete turnkey flooring solution was delivered within a tightly managed three-day shutdown, supported by preparatory works carried out in the weeks prior to installation. These pre-works ensured minimal disruption to the client’s operations and a smooth installation phase.
Pre-Shutdown Works

Floor underlayment to correct dips and uneven areas

Installation of ramps between varying floor levels

New stainless steel sheeting installed outside oven doors

Day 1

Removal of all client equipment following strict procedures

Equipment safely loaded onto lorries and removed off-site

Floor preparation including grinding, joint cutting, and hand-grinding of all edges

Application of DPM primer

Day 2

Installation of 9mm thick polyurethane (PU) flooring system

Day 3

Installation of 150mm high PU coving

Installation of stainless steel bump rails and equipment stays

Reinstallation and positioning of all client equipment

The project was completed on time, allowing Hickey’s Bakery to resume full operations with a durable, hygienic flooring system tailored for a high-demand food production environment.

You will preferably be experienced in all aspects of floor prep and installation.

A full driving licence is essential and Safepass and manual handling is preferred.

This would be a full time employed position ideally but subcontractors considered.
