From Monday, 7th September, the 815 Tullamore to Athlone service will pick up passengers at the new Tullamore Hospital stop shown in the photo below. 📍

⚠️ Please note: The old stop will no longer be in use from Monday 7th September 2026

If you're travelling on the 815 to or from Tullamore Hospital, please make sure to use the new stop.

Delays on the 850 Roscrea to Athlone service:
Due to a technical fault with the bus the 18.48 ex Roscrea to Athlone 850 service is running over 80 mins late, a replacement bus is en route and will commence service at 20.00 from Roscrea having a knock on effect on the 21.00 ex Athlone to Roscrea this service will also run 80 minutes late, apologies for any incoinvence caused.

Apologies for the 850 Roscrea to Athlone ex 6.48am and return from Athlone at 9.05am, due to technical issues with the bus, the service has not been able to run to the timetable. A replacement bus will be on schedule from 10.12am at Banagher going to Roscrea

From today August 17th change to cash fare options on selected TFI Local Link services, please see post below.

Changes to cash fare options on selected TFI Local Link services are due to come into effect on 17th August 2026.
Under planned changes, several fare products including Adult Return, Adult 7-Day, Young Adult Single, Young Adult Return, Young Adult 7-Day, Child 7-Day and Child Return will no longer be available to purchase with cash.
However, customers can continue to purchase both Adult Single and Child Single fares with cash.
Customers who currently use these fare options are encouraged to avail of alternative payment methods including TFI Leap Cards, the TFI Go app and contactless payment.
TFI Leap Cards, including Young Adult and Student Leap Cards, offer a convenient way to pay and can provide better value for passengers. Availing of digital payment options can also help create a quicker, smoother and more seamless travel experience.
These changes form part of ongoing efforts to reduce cash handling on services while continuing to offer core cash fare options to customers.
