🚛 YARD & SHUNT DRIVER WANTED – DROGHEDA 🚛

We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Yard & Shunt Driver to join our team in Drogheda.

🕒 Shift Hours

11:00am – 10:00pm

✅ Main Duties

11:00am – 2:00pm
• Short local container or trailer run
• Collection and delivery of trailers as required

2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Moving trailers between yard and factory
• Positioning trailers for loading and unloading
• Yard organisation and trailer management
• Working closely with loading staff and transport team

This is a varied role combining a short daily driving run with afternoon and evening yard shunting duties. Ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving and yard operations while working within a structured shift pattern.

✔ Experience with trailer movements and yard operations
✔ Safety conscious and dependable
✔ Good communication skills
✔ Able to work independently

Duffy Transport require drivers for the following roles:

🔹Full time driver based Drogheda (Days)

🔹Night driver x4 nights Sunday-Wednesday based Monaghan

🔹Tramper driver based Monaghan (Days)


Duffy Transport is currently looking for experienced Artic drivers to join our team operating from our Bases in Monaghan and Drogheda. The roles will consist mainly of collecting and delivering containers/trailers from Dublin port, depots and full loads into RDC’s, UK trips optional.

✅Min 2 years experience

✅Digital tachograph card essential

✅Full clean driving licence required

✅Up to date CPC card

✅Good command of the English language and be able to work under own initiative

✅Nights out may be required but not essential

We’re looking for a reliable part-time driver to join our team, based out of our Monaghan depot.

🗓 3 days per week – flexible
This role would suit someone who wants to work any 3 days per week.

🔧 Role includes:
✅ Driving vehicles to & from the CVRT test centre
✅ Collecting & returning trucks and trailers
✅ Moving vehicles between depots to our garage for service, repair & inspections.

👷 Ideal candidate:
✔️ Full driving licence
✔️ cpc card
✔️ Good attention to detail
✔️ Safe, steady driver
✔️ Knows their way around trucks & trailers
