Happy birthday to Dylan and his friends who took their celebration to the Slieve Blooms, shredding the trails and picking up some fresh mountain biking skills along the way!

Our qualified instructor ensured the lads learned the ropes, conquered the terrain, and had an epic time.

Only days remaining to sign up to the first race of the Offaly 10km Night Run Series.

The Kinnitty Castle 10km Knight Run route was checked yesterday evening and we are delighted to report that the race route is in excellent condition.

Lace up your runners and illuminate the night as you take on this unique challenge, celebrating health, fitness, and nature under the stars.

The journey begins this coming Friday night at the enchanting Kinnitty Castle, nestled in the heart of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Experience the magic of the castle grounds and surrounding trails under the glow of your headlamp.

The adventure continues on March 7th at the stunning Lough Boora Discovery Park, where scenic trails wind through tranquil lakes and artistic sculptures, offering an unforgettable running experience.

Not to be missed this coming weekend, April 20th & 21st!
The Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Festival is a two-day marathon mountain bike festival on the spectacular Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike Trails.
Located in Ireland's Hidden Heartlands and spanning the County Offaly and Laois border, the Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike trails offer over 100km of riding on fast and flowing single track.
The festival is Ireland’s premier marathon mountain bike festival which features the ‘Coillte Biking Blitz’ competition on Saturday and Sunday, plus the ‘Big Bike Movie Night’ on Saturday night.
The ‘Coillte Biking Blitz’ is a mass start cross-country mountain bike event, aimed primarily at beginners but with something for everyone. There are three categories for adults to choose from: Novice, E-Bike or Expert, plus youth events for 6-year-olds and up. All events in the Biking Blitz must be entered online in advance, pre entry only.
