One in five children has a special educational need or disability. That means, in a class of thirty, six children may be navigating a world not always designed for them.

Research shows that when children with SEND are properly supported, they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. But that support depends on having the right tools and environments.

Cubbie was created to remove barriers. To provide a safe, consistent way for individuals to self-regulate. And to help build spaces where everyone has the chance to participate and succeed.

In the first three months of this year, we delivered 76,069 Cubbie sessions. That’s almost 80,000 moments where someone was able to regulate, feel calmer, or simply have a better experience in their day.

The impact of what we're building goes beyond numbers, it's real impact on people's lives! Learn more about our story: https://www.cubbie-hub.com/about

What if inclusion wasn’t just about adapting, but about designing differently from the start? Too often, support is reactive.

But the most effective strategies are proactive, creating environments that prevent overwhelm before it happens. Cubbie is built with this in mind: giving people a space to regulate when they need it, not just when things escalate.

Get in touch with our team and together, we can design an inclusion strategy that works for you and your organisation. https://www.cubbie-hub.com/contact-us

Inclusion isn’t one person’s responsibility; it’s something we build together. Whether it’s in schools, healthcare, or communities, creating environments where everyone can participate means thinking differently about support.

Cubbie is one of the tools helping make that possible by giving individuals a way to regulate, reset, and rejoin when they’re ready.

The University of Galway recently conducted independent research into Cubbie’s impact across 154,000 sessions and over 4,000 people.

Here’s what they found:
- 84% of sessions resulted in a positive or regulated outcome
- 50% saw improvement after just one session
- 75% improved by their second session.

Regulation improved further with consistent use. Read the full report: https://www.cubbie-hub.com/resources/university-of-galway-report

Supporting students is important, but who supports the staff? When children are dysregulated, it can be stressful for teachers, healthcare staff, and support teams.

Having a reliable way to help individuals calm and reset doesn’t just benefit the child; it eases pressure on everyone around them.

Cubbie creates calmer environments for both users and staff, helping teams feel more equipped and confident in their roles. Learn more about Cubbie: https://www.cubbie-hub.com/

Consistency matters, especially for children and young people who rely on routine and predictability.

One of the biggest challenges across education and healthcare settings is continuity. A child may feel supported in one environment but overwhelmed in another.

This inconsistency can slow progress and increase anxiety.

Cubbie helps bridge that gap by offering a familiar, safe space for regulation that can be used across different settings from schools and clinics to community spaces. The experience becomes predictable, helping children build trust and confidence over time.

For many children, clinical environments can feel overwhelming. Bright lights, unfamiliar spaces, and long waits all add up.

A Consultant Paediatrician at Galway University Hospital shared how Cubbie has helped transform visits.

“The Cubbie has been a fantastic addition to the playroom particularly for children with developmental needs. Children with developmental needs come in for clinical review and often become distressed and upset in the clinical environment of the outpatient department. When brought to the Cubbie, they have settled and it has allowed for a very meaningful clinical visit without causing distress or anxiety for the child or their parents.”

When a child can regulate, care improves, families engage, and outcomes get better.
