Beara Peninsula with a Twist: Goats, Sheep & a Very Special Rescue 🐐🐑❤️
Our recent Beara Peninsula tour with Mary G Tours had a wonderfully unexpected twist — a visit to Beara Animal Rescue in Adrigole, run by the incredible Jacqui.
Jacqui welcomed us into her world and shared her passion and love for animals, especially her beloved goats. She introduced us to the wonderful characters who call the rescue home — goats, pigs, sheep and roosters — and we could have stayed listening to her stories all day!
One particular sheep certainly made an impression. This very friendly character has a special talent for undoing shoelaces and decided to accompany us throughout our visit! 🐑👟😂
It was such a lovely opportunity to experience another side of the Beara Peninsula and meet someone doing such wonderful work for animals in the local community.
