🚨 Start a Career in Boat Building – No Experience Needed 🚨

We are looking for Plastic Welders / Fabricators (Trainees welcome) to join our team building HDPE workboats and other innovative marine projects. 🚤

This is a hands-on role in our workshop, working with modern tools and materials to build commercial boats used across the marine industry.

💡 No previous plastic welding experience required, we will provide full HDPE extrusion welding training for the right candidate.

What we’re looking for:
• Someone practical who enjoys working with their hands
• Interest in building, fixing or making things
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Great for people with an interest in:
• Carpentry / joinery
• Engineering or mechanics
• Boats or the marine industry
• Workshop or construction work

Bonus (not essential):
• Experience using CNC routers
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks

🕘 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

This is a great opportunity to learn a specialised trade and work on real commercial boats.

A real pleasure building this custom HDPE KB60 for the National Maritime College of Ireland - NMCI, now supporting maritime training as she begins service. We worked closely with David O’Brien throughout the project, and he was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

We look forward to seeing her play a key role in training future maritime professionals.
