Dixon Bros Staff seen here assisting our colleagues in Iarnrod Eireann on their major track renewal over the Christmas Holiday between Connolly and Pearse, this is the busiest section of Iarnrod Eireann's rail network. Our support took the form of 3 sets of our Heavy Haulage Systems & additional RRV plant.
Set 1. transporting preassembled track panels from Seapoint/ Booterstown to Pearse Station in preparation for installation on the up rd. this was required due to no available storage on this very confined site. 2 no. RRV Atlas Gigarailers with panel grabs & trailers also assisted in the loading and offloading process.
Set 2. Transporting spoil material from the Loop line (Connolly-Pearse) to docklands station via Newcommen junction.
Set 3. Transporting spoil material from the Loop line (Connolly-Pearse) to docklands station via Newcommen junction & transportation of new Ballast from Friday 3/01/2025 ex-Docklands station to Loop line in preparation for Tamping on Saturday

This works started on St Stephen’s Day morning and are continuing around the clock until 04:00hrs on 6th January. A huge thanks to the Dixon Bros staff & supply chain who contributed to the success of this work so far.
