Products

We offer 24" and 51" wooden Grave Markers in Oak, Mahogany, Iroko and Cedar. Each cross contains a a choice of brass or silver effect plaques.

The front of the cross contains a beautiful edge detail which gives it a unique appearance. The cross is treated with 4 coats of clear preservative or Teak oil which gives it UV protection from the sun while maintaining the natural colour of the wood. The timber cross contains expansion joints to allow the hardwood to expand, contract and move in accordance with seasonal variations in moisture contents and temperature. This will improve the durability of the cross when used outdoors. Each cross is individual, handmade and contains its own unique peculiarities. No two crosses are identical.

The cross contains 2 or 3 laser engraved plaques in gold or silver colour with black text. The plaque materials resemble traditional brass or aluminium but do not tarnish or need polishing and are UV stable. The plaques are fixed to the timber using brass or zinc slotted screws.

We will personalise the text on the front plaque to suit your individual requirements. Please email us with your name and the engraving text to [email protected] or alternatively you can enter the engraving text into the message box that will appear after your order has been placed. We will confirm the text by email for your peace of mind.

Made in Ireland plaque

The plaque affixed to the rear of the cross confirms that this cross was made in Ireland.

Free Irish Holy Water

A free miniature bottle of Irish Holy Water is also included with each cross. This allows the family to bless the cross with holy water from Ireland. The holy water is sourced from Saint Brigit’s shrine in County Louth (North East of Ireland). Saint Brigit is the lesser known patron saint of Ireland.
