With the film industry in Ireland slowly gaining momentum we are now looking for new crew member to join our team for upcoming production.

Movies on the Move offer transportation and facility services to the film industry. We are looking for outgoing members to come aboard and help in the making of major productions in Ireland.

What skills and characteristics should you posses before applying:
- A full valid CE licence (Preferable)

OR

- A full valid C1E licence (Medium size trucks & trailers)

- Personal vehicle

- Flexible working hours ( Hours within in the Industry can be unpredictable)

- Some basic mechanical knowledge

- An interest in the outdoors (less than 10% of this career is spent behind the wheel of a vehicle)

- Problem solving skills as things love to go wrong at the last second.

-Time keeping and tardiness.

This job isn't for your basic A to B truck driver it is much more, however it is a fantastic way to see how the industry works, meet incredible people and see some amazing parts of the country which you would rarely gain access too.

IMPORTANT:

We are looking for drivers to become part of our ever expanding team!
With lots of new productions starting in this country we are looking to expand our workforce.

We are looking people with at least one of the following criteria:

- A valid in date CE licence (Articulated lorry)
-A valid in date D or D1 category licence (Bus and Coach)
- A valid in date SPSV or LPSV licence.

If you are applying with an SPSV licence please give make, model and year of vehicle in your possession and wether it is a limousine or taxi. Hackney’s are not accepted.

This career is not your standard load, drive & unload 9-5. We are a transportation company working within the Irish film Industry. We have worked on some of the biggest film and TV shows to be produced on the island.
Daily roles will including maintaining trucks and trailers at a unit base on film locations.

Some basic mechanical skills and problem solving is essential.

Full time rates start at around €39,000.00 per year before other benefits are incorporated.

As stated the film industry does not operate under the standard 9-5 work day. Productions are irregular and begin at 0700 one morning and begin the next day begin at 1400. Any one who thinks they suit the role must be flexible with their hours. Most days are an adventure spent amongst the hills with many cast and even more crew. This role is for someone that also enjoys outdoor work
