At Connelly Partners Dublin, we’re proud to have created the launch campaign for Shannon Airport’s brand-new App. The App features several Irish firsts: the first Irish airport app to send real-time flight updates straight to your smart watch, and use augmented reality to check your hand luggage fits in your airline’s overhead lockers. You can also pre-book parking and airport lounge access, and mark your parking spot so you don’t forget where your car is!

The newest campaign from the National Transport Authority showcases the broad range of Transport for Ireland services, from when the day begins to where it ends. A 3 day shoot across multiple modes of transport from buses to darts and more, the aim of this campaign is to highlight just how important public transport is to so many people across Ireland. The campaign slogan, “We’re Transport for Ireland. We’re transport for you.” emphasises the key message, that people are at the forefront of everything the NTA does.

A huge thank you to our clients and the whole NTA team for helping us bring this campaign to life, as well as the production crew at Rubberduck. And of course, none of this could have been done without our amazing producer Karen Ronaldson.

We were delighted to host our first Climate Fresk Workshop on the 3rd July. The event was co-facilitated by Dr Ciarán O'Carroll, Lecturer in Enterprise & Sustainability at TU Dublin, and Anita Freeman, Sustainability Lead for Connelly Partners.

Members of local businesses and the community were guided through how societal behaviour is changing the environment and the world as we know it. The workshop highlighted the challenges we face but also encouraged us to find levers for action giving hope for us both as individuals and as part of our wider society.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Ciarán and all who attended and we look forward to welcoming more members of our community to similar events with us in the future.

It may have taken 26 years but it was certainly worth the wait! Congratulations to Ciara Mageean, Sharlene Mawdsley, Rhasidat Adeleke, Chris O'Donnell, Thomas Barr, Sophie Becker and Phil Healy for winning gold and silver at the European Athletics Championships in Rome.

Understanding Climate Change has never been more important. So, what can you do?

On Wednesday 3rd July from 5pm to 8pm, Connelly Partners are hosting a fun and FREE CLIMATE WORKSHOP open to anyone interested in learning more.

Climate Fresk is an interactive workshop that teaches you about our changing climate system and empowers you to take high-impact climate action.

Presented through visual prompts, it makes it easy to understand and grasp the – sometimes difficult – concepts of Climate Change. We are delighted to have Dr Ciarán O'Carroll, Sustainability Consultant at Change by Degrees and Lecturer in Enterprise and Sustainability at TU Dublin, to lead the workshop for us. Ciarán is a distinguished Climate & Sustainable Transition expert, and a prominent figure in the realm of sustainability and business.

But it’s rich territory for physical comedy, and in our latest campaign we show the pitfalls and pressure-points with tongue planted firmly in cheek - culminating in our poor fall guy (or in this instance, fall girl) realising that a far better way was there all along: Expressway.

Planet vs Plastic - that’s the theme of Earth Day 2024. The world produces about 350 million tonnes of plastic every year, and plastic waste is showing up everywhere from mountain tops to ocean depths.

At Connelly Partners Dublin, we decided to do something about it. Sandymount is our local beach, where we and the local community go to relax and unwind. Except this time, we cleaned up. Literally. We cleared the sand and foliage of everything from plastic bottles to hair ties. It’s something we’ll be doing regularly from now on. Because helping the planet starts right here at home.

The world produces about 350 million tonnes of plastic every year, and plastic waste is showing up everywhere from mountain tops to ocean depths.
