Calling Irish shippers!

Did you know that your EORI registration must contain your FULL address, including your EIRCode?

Customs report that missing or incorrect EIRCodes are quite common and will cause delays with shipments.

If you're using the AES (Export System), NCTS (Transit), or completing ENS (Safety & Security Declarations) - don't forget to double-check your EORI registration has the full and correct details (including EIRCode).

It's easy to miss as you may not check it every time - but mistakes could result in hold-ups.

Nobody wants unhappy customers.

If you need any advice, get in touch with our Customs team.

Unsure about preparing your goods for transportation? 🤔

Here are a few basic tips:-

📦 Always use a good quality pallet for your consignment
📦 Make sure everything is boxed securely and use plenty of shrink-wrap
📦 Goods must not overhang on the pallet
📦 Ensure goods are secured to the pallet
📦 Clearly label with delivery address/details - ideally on 2 sides

Golden Week in China might sound like a celebration (and it is!) - but for anyone in logistics, it’s also a time to plan very carefully.

It takes place during the first week of October, and many Chinese businesses, including factories, suppliers and shipping lines, shut down completely.

This means slower production, port congestion and longer lead times for freight before and after the holiday.

We keep a close eye on the international calendar because we know that a public holiday on the other side of the world can still impact your delivery right here in Dublin.

So if you’ve got global shipments, get in touch!

From bricks, blocks and boilers to pipes, timber and toilets - nearly every key material used in construction arrives on a pallet at some point.

On a busy building project, getting those materials delivered at the right time matters because one late delivery can leave trades waiting, disrupt the schedule and potentially hold up the whole project.

Logistics might not be as visible as a crane or a concrete pour on site, but without reliable deliveries, progress can quickly come to a stop.

We deliver building materials all the time, so if you need a reliable pallet delivery service that understands how important timing is to your project - get in touch.

How do you know if your goods will move in transit?

The push test.

Before you finish packing your pallet, push the top half.

If it moves, it will do the same in transit, and the chance of damage is higher.

Apply more wrap, or consider restacking to get it stable before shipment.

Myth:
Shipping in Ireland is easy but shipping to Europe is difficult.

Truth:
It depends on who you use.

The RIGHT provider will have the same system, same collection arrangements, same customer service, same transparency and will guide you through the process.

If you'd like to discuss your next shipment, get in touch.
