It was great to welcome Sean, Rhianwen and Victor from Saint-Gobain to our facility yesterday for a review meeting.

It was a really positive session, and fantastic to hear how pleased they are with our dedicated nationwide service.

Special mention also to our drivers, Murt and John, who received some lovely feedback for their reliability, flexibility and support.

Strong customer relationships are hugely important to us and it’s always appreciated when they take the time to recognise the team behind the service.

When people think about "shipping a pallet of goods", they often imagine something like the top picture.

Neat, perfectly stacked, balanced and compact.

The reality is more like the bottom picture.

Different shapes, different sizes... tall, short, long, skinny - you name it.

It means you need to be flexible, agile and properly geared up to deal with whatever comes (within reason!) from the customer.

Flexibility is a key part of what logistics is all about, don't you think?

All deliveries are different.

This one was to a customer based on an industrial estate who didn’t have a forklift on site. That’s where a tail lift makes all the difference.

A tail lift allows us to lower goods safely to ground level without the need for onsite lifting equipment. It’s ideal for smaller businesses, retail units, or any delivery point that isn’t set up for unloading pallets.

We make sure we send the right vehicle for the job, so everything runs smoothly when we arrive.
