You can always trust our crew to bring the good atmosphere, but the volume might have gotten slightly out of hand on the way back in here! There is absolutely nothing like pulling into Doolin Pier with the tunes blaring.

One of the best souvenirs you can buy when out on the islands is an Aran jumper. You might think summer is a strange time to buy them, but trust us, once that Atlantic breeze hits you on the ferry ride home, you’ll be glad of the extra layer!

There is something special about buying a jumper in the very place the patterns were born. Every stitch tells a story of island life, and they’ll last you a lifetime (or at least until you accidentally put it in a hot wash. Don't do that, we beg you).

We couldn't agree more with , if you’re looking for that "postcard-perfect" Irish village, you’ve officially found it. ☘️

There’s a reason people fall head over heels for Doolin. It’s not just the bright-coloured cottages or the sound of a fiddle drifting out of a pub door. It’s also the fact that it’s the gateway to some of the biggest bucket-list moments in Ireland.

Once you've finished wandering the village and grabbing a photo of those famous thatched roofs, you’re only a 20-minute walk from the pier where the real magic happens:

- The Cliffs of Moher: Instead of just standing on top, you can hop on a boat and see them towering above you from the sea.
- The Aran Islands: You can catch a ferry for a day trip to the islands, where you get a completely different Irish experience.

If you’re building your dream Ireland itinerary, do yourself a favour and put a big circle around Doolin.

Three days until the official start of summer (although it seems we're having it now!). So this is your friendly reminder to get booking!

We’ll be racing across the waves every single day all summer long, but we’ll admit, we’re extra enthusiastic when the sun is out and the Atlantic is sparkling. That said, there’s something purely magical (and rugged!) about the islands even when the mist is rolling in.

There is just nothing like the wind in your hair and the sight of the islands getting closer on a clear summer's day. Whether you’re heading over for a beach day on Inis Oírr or a cliff-side wander on Inis Mór, the "Summer Version" of the islands is something you have to see for yourself.
