It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dermot Cronin, founder of Cronin’s Coaches. Just a few weeks shy of his 95th birthday, Dermot passed away peacefully at home.

A true pioneer of Irish tourism, Dermot established the business in 1957 and devoted his life to building a company that has become a trusted and respected name in transport and tourism across Ireland. His contribution to the industry was immense, and his legacy will continue to inspire for generations to come. Dermot will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral arrangements are outlined below, and we extend our sincere thanks to all who have shared their kind wishes and support at this time.

As a mark of respect, our office will close on Friday at 4.00pm and will remain closed for the weekend.

Another successful Meitheal for the Cronin’s Coaches team! We were delighted to meet so many of our valued clients, operators, and agents from across our overseas markets who came to Killarney for Meitheal (Ireland’s largest travel trade workshop), and we look forward to taking care of all their transport requirements while touring in Ireland.

A huge thank you to Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland for organising such a fantastic event, and to the Gleneagle Killarney & INEC Arena for hosting. Special thanks also to The Brehon Hotel & Spa, Killarney, and to Neil and Alice for taking such great care of us during our stay.
