MiniMovers is a weekly session run by Anna Clarke, a teacher who specialises in the early years. It is a fun class designed to develop a range of children’s physical abilities such as co-ordination, agility and balance. It also supports the development of social and early educational skills. How does it work? It is a 45 minute session, broken into 3 sections
10 minutes - Warm up games and stretchi

20 minutes - Children explore different physical activity stations which focuses on different skills. Children to be taken around by their grownups. Babies and crawlers have a designated area just for them and their gross motor needs.
15 minutes – Group games, music and movement, dance
MiniMovers classes are a great way to help your child in a number of different areas-
Physical - Co-ordination, balance, agility, gross motor
Social – Turn taking, sharing, making friends
Numeracy - Counting, mathematical vocabulary
Literacy – Singing, language/ vocabulary

When and where are classes held? Monday- Virginia Show Centre at 10am
Tuesday- 5- 8 year old classes- Killinkere Leisure Centre 20th September- 25th October at 4-5pm
Wednesday- Cavan Gaels Clubroom at 10:30am
Every other Saturday starting on the 1st Octonber- Virginia Show Centre at 10:30am
