Some of our favourite conversations happen when we're side by side, not face to face.

No screens or distractions allow for a conversation that actually goes beyond
"So, how was school?" 😅

Whether it's a gentle cycle along the canal or a quiet walk through the woods, the real stuff has a way of coming out. These are the moments our kids will actually remember. 🚲 💚

Meet the Princess of the Inny 👑 🌊

Did you know that the River Inny is a tribute to a princess?

It is named after the mythological Princess Eithne (Ethniu), daughter of Balor of the Evil Eye.

According to legend, she drowned in these very waters and was then cremated downstream at the rapids at Tenelick.

From its source at the ancient stone tombs of Loughcrew to where it meets the Shannon, this 88km stretch of water is pure magic.

🌿 Fun Fact: Because it’s one of the cleanest rivers in Ireland, it's a sanctuary for rare wildlife.

👀 Look closely next time you're on the trail!
