It’s coming up to the annual deadline date for professional drivers.
Acquired rights (bus licence obtained before 09/2008/Truck 09/2009) - All bus drivers must have 2 CPC training modules complete, and truck drivers 1 module complete by September 9th.
For all drivers and employers, you must keep track of Driver Qualification card expiry dates and what courses have been done. This is possible using the RSA mycpc portal

If a card is out of date or expired, you cannot drive legally on the road and both driver and employee are liable to fines of up to €5,000, Attached are some examples of prosecutions including a driver in Wexford that appeared in court last month that was fined €750 and the final fine imposed was over €1,300
