Vietnam took 70,000 metric tons of Indian diesel at Van Phong Terminal in August. That ended an eight-year gap in direct fuel trade between the two countries.

Hanoi cut its diesel import tax from 7% to zero in March. The change runs through September 2026. Vietnam wants more supply options as Middle East shipping lanes face risk.

Reliance Industries loaded the cargo at its Jamnagar refinery. The tanker Magic Victoria made the delivery between August 14 and 16. Indian diesel is now keeping Asian cash premiums at $5 to $6 per barrel.

Razorpay says its new AI model can fix India's payment failures. The company claims an 8–10% uplift in success rates. But no outside auditor has checked those numbers.

Vulcan was trained on 3 trillion data points from 4 billion transactions. Razorpay tested it on 51,000 businesses and 1.5 million shoppers. India's e-commerce market could hit $350 billion by 2030, up from $120–140 billion in 2024. The model reads 3,000 signals per transaction across UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, and cash-on-delivery.

Revolut Payments Australia now holds an unrestricted banking licence from APRA, effective 21 July 2026. The UK fintech has 1.2 million Australian customers. Most came for payments and foreign exchange. Now Revolut chief Matt Baxby says the group is weighing entry into Australian home lending. No loan product, no rate, no launch date. But the move would pitch Revolut against Australia's four largest banks, which hold at least 70 per cent of mortgages and deposits. Revolut's Australian arm made A$70.8 million in 2025 revenue and A$7.4 million net profit. Eligible deposits now carry a A$250,000 government guarantee. A banking licence opens doors, but a mortgage book needs capital.
