This island is naturally familiar to local tourists.
besides the beauty of the island which is famous in this place there is also an interesting statue. the local people call it "SIGALE-GALE"

Sigale Gale is a wooden puppet used in a funeral dance performance of the Batak people in Samosir Island, Northern Sumatra. Sigale Gale is a well known feature to visiting tourists. During the dance, the puppet is operated from behind like a marionette using strings that run through the ornate wooden platform on which it stands. The set up enables its arms and body to be moved and its head to turn.
Traditionally the performance was carried out of childless person. Batak Toba believe souls become an ancestral spirit and the children of the deceased perform funerary rites. If a person died childless a si gale-gale is created as a substitute. Complicated sigale gale could be life sized and featured actuation using wet moss or sponges that could be squeezed to make the dolls appear to cry.

Bingei River is close to Medan City (around 40 km), moreover from the city of Binjai. From the city of Binjai the location of the River Rafting rafting can be reached in about 30 minutes driving with a distance of approximately 20 km. This location is quite easy to reach.
Bingei River is a relatively small river, rocks, clear water with numerous and varied rapids. The depth of the water varies so that in certain places tourists are invited to swim or jump from rock to river. The clear water allows us to see the bottom of the river.
