✈️ Online Pre-arrival Information Submission for Visitors at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Starting from April 15, 2026, all foreign nationals and overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam through Tan Son Nhat International Airport via a visa are required to complete a digital arrival card. This measure is designed to streamline entry procedures and enhance the overall arrival experience.

From April 1, 2026, India will officially discontinue paper Disembarkation Cards (DE Card) and switch fully to online declarations.

👉 For now, paper forms are still accepted until March 31, 2026. But for a smoother journey, it’s best to get familiar with the new process!

VIETNAM AIRLINES RELOCATES OPERATIONS AT SELECTED INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS ✈️

To enhance service quality and provide a more modern travel experience, Vietnam Airlines will relocate operations at three key international airports:

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (France): From Terminal 2E to Terminal 2C (approx. 200m apart), with upgraded facilities. Effective March 31, 2026.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Manila, Philippines): From Terminal 1 to Terminal 3, offering more space and better SkyTeam connectivity. Effective March 29, 2026.

Frankfurt Airport (Germany): From Terminal 2 to the new Terminal 3, featuring self-service check-in and automated baggage systems. Effective May 19, 2026.

Passengers are advised to arrive at least 3 hours before departure and complete online check-in via the website or mobile app. Clear signage and Vietnam Airlines staff will be available to assist.

Nhằm nâng cao chất lượng dịch vụ và mang đến trải nghiệm hiện đại hơn cho hành khách, Vietnam Airlines sẽ điều chỉnh khai thác tại ba sân bay quốc tế trọng điểm:

Sân bay Paris Charles de Gaulle (Pháp): Từ nhà ga 2E sang nhà ga 2C (cách nhau khoảng 200m), với cơ sở vật chất được nâng cấp. Áp dụng từ ngày 31/03/2026.
Sân bay quốc tế Ninoy Aquino (Manila, Philippines): Từ nhà ga số 1 sang nhà ga số 3, với không gian rộng hơn và kết nối SkyTeam thuận tiện hơn. Áp dụng từ ngày 29/03/2026.
Sân bay Frankfurt (Đức): Từ nhà ga số 2 sang nhà ga số 3 mới, với hệ thống làm thủ tục tự động và ký gửi hành lý hiện đại. Áp dụng từ ngày 19/05/2026.

Hành khách được khuyến nghị đến sân bay ít nhất 3 giờ trước giờ khởi hành và làm thủ tục trực tuyến qua website hoặc ứng dung di động. Đội ngũ nhân viên Vietnam Airlines và hệ thống biển chỉ dẫn sẽ hỗ trợ quý khách tại sân bay.

📢 Operational Adjustment at Lien Khuong International Airport (Da Lat) from March 4, 2026

✈️ Lien Khuong International Airport (IATA code: DLI) will be temporarily closed from 00:00 on March 4, 2026 to 23:59 on August 25, 2026 for runway and taxiway maintenance. During this period, Vietnam Airlines will suspend flights to and from Da Lat and apply passenger support policies valid through August 31, 2026.

✨ Additional flights will operate from Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to Buon Ma Thuot and Pleiku to meet travel demand across the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
✨ One complimentary change of travel date or rerouting to nearby airports.

VIETNAM AIRLINES SIGNS PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR 50 BOEING 737-8 AIRCRAFT IN THE U.S

✈️ On February 19 in Washington, D.C., and in the presence of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam
To Lam and Vietnamese officials, Vietnam Airlines signed an agreement with The Boeing Company for 50 Boeing 737-8 aircraft.

The airline also discussed plans to invest in 30 additional wide-body jets, with the total potential deal valued at over USD 12 billion - a major boost to its international expansion plans.

This marks an important step toward growing the fleet to 151 aircraft by 2030.

The new Boeing 737-8 will help increase flight frequency across domestic and Asian routes, cut fuel use and emissions by up to 20%, and continue elevating Vietnam Airlines’ five-star service standards. 💙✈️
