👉🏼 Nusa Ceningan, the little sister of Nusa Lembongan is located only 30 minutes by speedboat from Bali 🛥

The island is directly connected to Nusa Lembongan by the famous yellow bridge. 🌟

The total area of the island is about 3 square kilometres, so only a few hours are needed to go around the island and stop at the most beautiful spots. Nusa Ceningan is famous for its snorkeling, surfing and seaweed culture. In fact, 95% of the population lives from seaweed farming! 🌊

The most beautiful spots of the island are the Blue Lagoon and its turquoise waters 🐠, Mahana Point and its waves ideal for surfing 🏄 , Secret beach and its white sand 🥥 or the restaurants at the edge of the beach with a view on the seaweed culture.

During your trip to Bali with MimpiGO, you can add a stop on a small and welcoming island away from mass tourism, Nusa Lembongan. 🏝

👉🏼The island is organised in two parts. The west coast of the island is the most touristy with its accommodation and beautiful beaches, some of which are reserved for seaweed farming. The eastern part is wilder and is bordered by mangroves. A diversity of landscapes very appreciable when one makes the turn of the island Lembongan.

Mushroom Bay 🍄 is a must-see spot to visit. It is a small bay located in the southwest of Lembongan Island. This crescent-shaped cove of white sand is very famous for its mushroom-shaped corals. Many activities can be practiced here, including diving and parasailing. 🪂

Next, head to Dream Beach, a white sandy beach ideal for a drink especially at sunset. 🌅 It is located in the south of the island.

Every day ceremonies take place on the island of the gods. The great wealth of Balinese culture is one of the main charms of the island. 😍

The Balinese are extremely religious, most of the rites and ceremonies are directly linked to hindouim religion. The Balinese are very open-minded and tolerant, the various ceremonies are open or public and tourists are well accepted. ☺️

👉🏼Every year big special ceremonies take place like Melasti aka the great cleansing followed by Nyepi, the new year of the saka calendar. There is also Galungan for the creation of the universe, Saraswati, the ceremony dedicated to the goddess of knowledge or Odalan, to celebrate the foundation of the Odalan temple.
