The Quiet Logistics of Trade Fair Season
Not every project makes headlines, and some of our most demanding work happens quietly behind the scenes.

Together with our client and trusted partners, HGL recently coordinated multiple shipments of dental exhibition equipment across Switzerland, Spain, the United Kingdom,Türkiye and Malta.

Trade fair logistics has its own rhythm. Demonstration units and high-value display equipment are part of a complex exhibition journey, travelling internationally to the event, remaining on-site throughout live demonstrations, and returning safely to their origin afterwards. Often moving under an ATA Carnet, these temporary cross-border shipments require thorough planning, coordinated ex*****on and reliable oversight from departure to final return.

Unlike routine commercial shipments, delicate dental technology requires careful handling, precise documentation and seamless customs coordination every step of the way.

Five countries. Different customs procedures. One non-negotiable deadline every time: everything has to be in place before the exhibition hall doors open.

Together with our client and trusted partners, HGL supports the logistics behind Sennashop.com, the official merchandise brand of Ayrton Senna, combining everyday cross-border e-commerce fulfillment with the fast-paced demands of Formula 1 race weekends.

From our central fulfillment warehouse, orders are picked, packed and shipped to fans across Europe. At the same time, our team prepares and operates fully equipped pop-up stores to racetracks across Europe for many different motorsport events - transporting displays, merchandise, POS systems and everything needed to welcome fans and serve them with all their merchandise needs when the gates open.

Over the course of an average season, that means supporting events across the EU and travelling more than 142,000 km, ensuring every race shop is ready before the first visitors arrive.

For us, fulfillment isn't just about delivering parcels.
It's about making sure every fan can experience the Senna legacy - whether their order arrives at home or they experience it in person at a motorsport event on race day.🏎️📦

A 1966 Porsche With Wings

Some cargo needs a flatbed. Some need a PAG. Some need a passport.
This one needed both, plus a very careful pilot.

Together with our client and trusted partners, HGL coordinated
the air transport of a rebuilt 1966 Porsche 912, reimagined with
a carbon fibre body by a Hungarian workshop, from Budapest
to its new owner in Florida.

The vehicle rolled onto the tarmac under its own power before being carefully secured onto a dedicated air cargo pallet (PAG) and fully prepared for airfreight aboard a cargo aircraft.
Every step was carried out in line with strict international transport regulations, and because the vehicle exceeded the dimensions for standard security screening, it underwent a specialist canine screening inspection before departure.

After leaving Hungary, the shipment transited through another large European cargo hub before arriving in Miami, where it successfully completed U.S. customs clearance and continued its journey to its new home.

Moving a classic car by air is about far more than transportation. It requires expert knowledge, careful planning, specialist handling and close coordination at every stage of the journey.
A little piece of automotive history, delivered with modern logistics expertise.🏎️✈️
