[Project News] RenewMap HU-HR project will be in the focus of one of the sessions of the 17th International Natural Gas, Heat and Water Conference in Osijek on 23 September!🤩

👉 Join RenewMap in Osijek on 23 September for a dedicated afternoon programme as part of the 17th International Natural Gas, Heat and Water Conference.

‼️The deadline for the call for applications for the Border Regions Peer Exchange on Solving Border Obstacles programme has been extended to 16 September 2026 at 17:00 CEST.

This gives organisations across Europe extra time to apply for one of the 100 visitor places available to take part in 10 peer-exchange visits (2-day visits), running between November 2026 and January 2027.

Fundación CEER with The Border Regions Peer Exchange is looking for 100 visitors to join 10 exchange visits across Europe. Applications close on 7 September at 17:00!

Each visit lasts two to three days and brings together people working on shared cross-border challenges: access to public services, cross-border healthcare, employment cooperation, coordination during floods. The 50 highest-ranked applicants receive a lump sum of up to €750.

✅ Open to public authorities, Interreg programme bodies, universities, research centres, civil society organisations and other actors working on cross-border cooperation

✅ 100 places, 10 visits, 2 to 3 days each

🔵🔵🔵A commemorative programme was held within the ZG ZONE project on Monday, 7 September 2026, in Čakovec and Šenkovec, marking the 460th anniversary of the heroic final charge and death of Nikola Šubić Zrinski during the Battle of Szigetvár.

🇭🇷🤝🇭🇺The Croatian and Hungarian partners of the project presented to the public the "Bench of Croatian-Hungarian Friendship", financed within the project and placed within the Zrinski Park in downtown Čakovec, as well as the geneaology of the Zrinski/Zrínyi Family, also published within the project.
