WW2 Airsoft event "Kelly's Heroes" WW2 AIRSOFT EVENT "KELLY'S HEROES" HELD AT THE PLACE OF ORIGINAL SHOOTING OF THE MOVIE AT VIŽINADA, CROATIA

Welcome to the true home of the Movie , Vizinada, Istria in the country of Croatia. Filming started here and in the surrounding areas in 1969, the village has changed very little in all these years. Each year since 2017 we have run a big WW2 Re enactment and Airsoft battle, based on the movie and IN the village it was filmed in and around! There is a new museum ( right next to where the Bank set w

as built) with some amazing props that have surfaced here and the village dresses back to the 1940’s for the Kelly’s Heroes event. re enactors and players as well as members of the public travel here from all over Europe and we even had Oddball ( The Great Donald Sutherland) himself come back to visit a few years ago . The Gold for The Brave ( as the film was named here when released in 1970) event is open to all to re enact/ fight in the airsoft battle as Axis or allied soldiers or even french villagers and or French Resistance fighters. Vizinada is a beautiful village with warm friendly people and inexpensive villas and lodgings , flights can arrive in to Pula airport which is about a 45 minute drive away from the village. Please take a look at our photos and videos from the last 3 events ( 2020 was of course cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic). We look forward to meeting more fans of this amazing movie and seeing you walking in the footsteps of Kelly, Big Joe and Oddball as you walk to where the tiger tank sat in the village square. Dear friends we have to inform you with Great regret that we are forced to cancel our Kelly's Heroes event. As all things have to come to an end looks Like now is our turn, we hope you had a Great time with us and ejoyed our games. We apologise to all of you because we realise you had to organise your lige and work schedule to join us . In spite of all our efforts we had to face the reality that we are no longer able to uphold the game to a level wich we deem to be a minimum to justify your efforts to participate the game. With this notice ASK Odvažni Will focus on it's future Projects for modern airsoft and try to uphold the quality on future games. We thank you all for the mother beautiful moments we had and hope to meet you again on the field of battle. Keep on with the possitive waves!

Last weekend it happened again.
The sixth episode of Kelly's Heroes has taken place. This time the scope was a little smaller (that's why there aren't as many photos this time). Rainy weather was forecast for Saturday.
Fortunately, the weather was good and allowed the airsofters to spend a few exciting hours in the picturesque Istrian landscape. A small re-enactment was even possible in the center of Vižinada.
As always, it was great to see participants and friends from previous years again.
Now I hope you enjoy looking at the photos.

S obzirom na vremenske neprilike morali smo skratiti plan za uprizorenje sa cjelodnevnog na kratko uprizorenje na trgu.

Uprizorenje će biti održano u skromnijem aranžmanu u 17:00 na glavnom trgu

Koristit će se zvučni efekti iz ručnog naoružanja tokom dana ali scenska pirotehnika se neće koristiti zbog vremenskih uvjeta.

U slučaju kiše u poslijepodnevnim satima uprizorenje će se otkazati.
