If you ever visit Vukovar, you must try the best craft beer in Vukovar, Walkow - an old Croatian name for the Vukovar fortress that dates baco to the community with Hungary in which Vukovar was the guardian of Croatian identity and a city that was among the first to receive the status of a free royal city (even before Zagreb). At that time, Vukovar was known for its fortress, which was firmly built on the high bank of the Danube (Dunav) and the city got its name after it.

In recent times, in 1968, a new fortress was built in Vukovar, today it is a symbol of indestructibility - Vukovar Water Tower - which despite numerous missiles hit during the war, remained standing, persistent and stubborn, as a reflection of the steel will of people who defended the city. 🇭🇷❤🍻

18.11. - The fall of Vukovar, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the city of heroes and the anniversary of the struggle for Vukovar.

Vukovar has a particularly important role in Croatian history and the establishment of an independent and sovereign state. It is a symbol of resistance and sacrifice, a symbol of unity in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Croatia in the Homeland War. This year, too, tens of thousands of people took part in a column of remembrance for the victims of Vukovar on the way from the Vukovar hospital to the Vukovar cemetery. 🇭🇷✝️

Did you know that in the 19th century, Zadar was also the place where the first Croatian newspaper were printed.

Zadar is very nicely located town in the Croatian coast, it is near the Zrće Beach, where young people spend nights in clubs with hip hop music, and it is also near the Pag island, which is most known for the cheese.

Zagreb is the capital city of Croatia. Zagreb is a city with a rich history dating from the Roman times to the present day.
In Zagreb you can also visit a lot of interesting destinations like Zagreb Cathedral, St Mark church, ban Jelačić square, Kaptol, Dolac market, Upper town, HAZU, Stone Gate, etc…
Speaking of Zagreb, it still has working gas lamps, over 200 old-school gas lamps have lit up Zagreb each night since their installation in 1863, which is one of thousand interesting facts about Zagreb that most of people don't know.

Zagreb's oldest craft brewery Medvedgrad is home of some of the best crafted Croatian beers.
