Hosted by the Croatian National Tourist Board USA in partnership with the tourist boards of Zadar and Šibenik-Knin counties, the event brought together top American travel advisors from the premium and luxury space to experience the beauty, culture, and extraordinary flavors of Croatia.

As part of this special showcase, Lastavica Cruising had the opportunity to meet directly with U.S. travel professionals and help spotlight the incredible appeal of the Šibenik-Knin region and the Dalmatian coast. With strong interest from the American market continuing to grow, events like this help share the authentic charm, unforgettable experiences, and warm hospitality that make Croatia so special.

At Lastavica Cruising, caring for the Adriatic is not just part of what we do; it is part of who we are. That is why we are so grateful to BPS Marine for helping us take an exciting step forward in our sustainability efforts.

With the implementation of BPS Marine's ultrasonic antifouling technology, we are embracing a smarter, cleaner way to protect our yachts. This innovative system uses high-frequency ultrasonic waves to help prevent algae, slime, and other marine growth from attaching to the hull, without relying solely on traditional chemical-heavy antifouling methods.

What does that mean for Lastavica? It means less buildup below the waterline, improved efficiency, reduced maintenance, and a more eco-conscious approach to cruising the stunning waters we call home.

We were truly saddened to learn of the passing of Don Capparella.

Don was a friend to Lastavica Cruising for many years and played a meaningful role in helping guests experience the beauty of Croatia. We are truly grateful for his friendship, his support, and the connection he shared with our team over the years.

At Lastavica, we have always believed that our travel advisor partners are part of our extended family, and Don was very much a part of that circle. His presence, kindness, and the relationships he built will not be forgotten.

We are holding his family and friends close in our thoughts and prayers and sending our deepest condolences as they walk through this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.

What an incredible time we had in Amsterdam for the ASTA River Cruise Expo.

It was such a pleasure to spend time on the exhibit hall floor meeting so many new friends, reconnecting with familiar faces, and sharing the spirit of Lastavica Cruising with the travel advisor community. Events like ASTA are always a wonderful reminder of how special this industry is and how much we value the relationships that help bring unforgettable travel experiences to life.

We were especially happy to spend time with our great friends from Amadeus and Lüfter Cruising, Kristin Karst from AmaWaterways, and, of course, two of our wonderful travel advisor partners, Wendy Denny and Audrey Blank. special.
