Dear innovators, practitioners, conceptual thinkers, entrepreneurs, creative individuals from all backgrounds, start-ups, research organizations and businesses working on innovative and accessible transportation solutions, the DANOVA project team, aware that generating ideas takes time, is happy to announce that the deadline for receiving applications to Call for Ideas is extended till November 30th!
The aim of the Call is to collect new solutions that can contribute to improving the accessibility of transport services, infrastructure and information to blind and partially sighted people. With this Call, you will have the opportunity to present your idea to international stake- and shareholders in the field of transportation and to organizations representing blind and partially sighted people. The winner gets to present the idea at the final project conference in Vienna! But wait, there’s more! We are very excited to announce that we will recognize and reward first winner’s efforts with the prize of 10.000 EUR!
Here is a brief overview of the important dates:
• The call is opened from September 1st until November 30th, 2021
• Questions and answers period: until November 25th, 2021
• First review of ideas: mid-December 2021
• Announcement of winners: January 31st, 2022

Nagrada iznosi 10.000 Eur!

“RESTARTING OF THE TOURISTIC SECTOR IN THE ADRIATIC AREA”

Restarting of the touristic sector in the Adriatic Area is the central topic of the International conference that will be held on the web next Monday 19th July, as part of the initiatives envisaged by the European project REMEMBER “Restoring the memory of Adriatic ports sites. Maritime culture to foster Balanced Territorial growth”. A project that involves 8 maritime cities on both sides of the Adriatic (Ancona, Ravenna, Venice, Trieste, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik) with the aim of enhancing the value of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage connected to the sea, a resource that has been capable of generating economic, cultural and artistic wealth over the centuries.

Thanks to the contribution of the 2014 – 2020 Italy Croatia cross – border cooperation program, Dubrovnik port Authority with Central Adriatic ports Authority as a Lead partner and six other partners (the Port Authorities of the Central – Northern Adriatic Sea, of the Eastern Adriatic Sea the Polytechnic University of Marche, the Port Authorities of Zadar, the National Museum of Zadar, the Regional Development Agency of the Split – Dalmatia County, International Cluster of Rijeka) are preparing a High level Conference highlighting the restart of the touristic sector in the Adriatic Sea after the Covid 19 pandemic.

Such a debate will see the participation of very important experts as Ms. Vlasta Klarić from Croatian Ministry of Tourism and Sports EUSAIR PC deputy/ FP Thematic Expert Department for

European Affairs, Policies and Strategies and Ms. Laura Cimaglia, MedCruise VP, Director of Ports, Cities and Destinations as keynote speakers.

The conference will begin at 10 am and will be moderated by Mr. Darko Buković. The speakers for institutional greetings will include Ms. Jelka Tepšić, Deputy Mayor City of Dubrovnik, Mr. Kristijan Pavić, Chairman of the board of ACI d.d. and by Central Adriatic Ports Authority as a Lead partner of the project. Part of the conference will be a round table called Rebranding future of touristic sector in Adriatic with participation of port Authorities (Central Adriatic Ports Authority, Dubrovnik port Authority, Port of Ravenna Authority, Split port Authority, Trieste port Authority and Zadar port Authority). The conclusion will be made by Forum of Adriatic and Ionian Cities representative.

„NOVI POČETAK TURISTIČKOG SEKTORA NA JADRANSKOM PODRUČJU”

Novi početak turističkog sektora na Jadranskom području središnja je tema Međunarodne konferencije koja će se održati online u ponedjeljak 19. srpnja ove godine u okviru inicijativa predviđenih europskim projektom “REMEMBER - REstoring the MEmory of Adriatic ports sites. Maritime culture to foster Balanced tERritorial growth” (Oživljavanje sjećanja na jadranske luke. Pomorska kultura za poticanje teritorijalnog rasta).

Projektom u koji je uključeno osam pomorskih gradova na dvije strane Jadrana (Ancona, Ravenna, Venecija, Trst, Rijeka, Zadar, Split i Dubrovnik) nastoji se valorizirati materijalna i nematerijalna pomorska kulturna baština kao resurs koji je stoljećima omogućavao stvaranje ekonomskog, kulturnog i umjetničkog bogatstva.

Zahvaljujući sredstvima iz Programa prekogranične suradnje Italija - Hrvatska 2014 - 2020, Lučka uprava Dubrovnik s Lučkim upravama srednjeg Jadrana kao vodećim partnerom i šest drugih partnera (Lučka uprava za srednji i sjeverni Jadran, Lučka uprava za Istočni Jadran, Veleučilište u Marcheu, Lučka uprava Zadar, Narodni muzej Zadar, Javna ustanova za razvoj Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, Klaster intermodalnog prijevoza Rijeka) pripremaju konferenciju kojom će istaknuti ponovno pokretanje turističkog sektora na Jadranskom području, nakon pandemije Covid 19.

U raspravi će sudjelovati istaknuti stručnjaci poput gospođe Vlaste Klarić iz hrvatskog Ministarstva turizma i sporta, zamjenica EUSAIR PC-a i gospođe Laure Cimaglie, potpredsjednice MedCruisea kao glavne govornice.
Konferencija će započeti u 10 sati, a uloga moderatora povjerena je gospodinu Darku Bukoviću. Za pozdrave institucija intervenirat će gospođa Jelka Tepšić, zamjenica gradonačelnika Grada Dubrovnika, gospodin Kristijan Pavić, predsjednik uprave ACI d.d. i od strane Lučke uprave srednjeg Jadrana kao vodećeg partnera na projektu. Kao sastavni dio konferencije održat će se okrugli stol pod nazivom „Rebranding budućnosti turističkog sektora na Jadranu“ na kojemu će sudjelovati lučke uprave (Lučke uprave Srednjeg Jadrana, Lučka uprava Dubrovnik, Lučka uprava Ravenna, Lučka uprava Split, Lučka uprava Trst i Lučka uprava Zadar). Konferenciju će zaključiti
predstavnik Foruma jadransko jonskih gradova.
