Contrary to popular belief, not every trip has to be a huge production. 😅

Not every vacation needs to be 7+ nights, require months of planning, or involve crossing multiple time zones.

Some of my favorite trips I've booked recently have been a long weekend in Chicago, a quick getaway to Las Vegas, a girl's trip to Disney, a few nights at Universal, and a family beach vacation.

Sometimes a few days away from the laundry, dishes, sports schedules, work emails, and everyday responsibilities is exactly what you need.

So now I'm curious...
If I handed you a plane ticket today and told you that you had to leave tomorrow for a 3-4 day getaway, where would you go?

I don't usually talk about sales because that's never really been my goal.

My goal has always been helping people take the trips they've been dreaming about, making the planning process easier, and getting excited right alongside them.

But as May comes to a close, I'm celebrating a little milestone. May was the biggest sales month I've had since becoming a travel advisor, and that's entirely because so many of you trusted me with your vacation plans.

Chicago hotel spotlight ✨

We stayed at the Royal Sonesta Downtown Chicago over the holiday weekend, and it was such a fantastic option for a family city getaway.

One of the biggest advantages was the location. We were able to walk to so many of the places we wanted to visit, which made exploring Chicago with kids feel much easier. We even had a stroller and found travel easy. Being downtown meant quick access to shopping, museums, restaurants, parks, and attractions without constantly needing transportation.

The hotel itself was beautiful with spacious modern rooms, incredible city and river views, and a really welcoming atmosphere. After long days exploring the city, it was nice coming back to a hotel that felt comfortable and relaxing for both kids and adults.

For families considering a long weekend in a big city, I think where you stay makes a huge difference, and this was one of those hotels that truly helped make the trip smooth and enjoyable.

Definitely one I’d recommend for a Chicago stay 🤍

It might feel early, but I promise you, it’s not too early to start thinking about holiday travel 🎄✨

I just booked the Disney Destiny over New Year’s Eve, and while there was availability, it was already limited.

That’s how quickly these sailings go, especially during the holidays when everyone is trying to travel at the same time.

If a holiday cruise is even a MAYBE for you, now is the time to start looking and lock something in. You can always fine-tune the details later, but availability and pricing only get tougher the longer you wait.

There’s something really special about celebrating the holidays at sea. Less stress, more magic, and built-in memories without all the planning on your end.
