【Flight Arrangements Due to Typhoon Jangmi】
Latest update: 2 June 2026 13:00 HKT (GMT+8)
Due to the impact of Typhoon Jangmi, flights UO848 and UO849 on 3 June 2026, which operate between Hong Kong and Tokyo (Narita), will be cancelled. We have notified all affected passengers of the flight changes and are providing the necessary assistance to enable them to make alternative travel arrangements in advance. Special ticket arrangements for typhoon-affected flights are in place; passengers may rebook, request a refund, or reroute to other flights arriving at or departing from Tokyo (Narita / Haneda). Affected passengers can check their emails or use the following link for details on the rebooking offer or to request a refund: https://irop.hkexpress.com/en-us/irop/login/ .
Due to unstable weather conditions, we recommend passengers to regularly check their emails or browse the flight status page before heading to the airport to stay informed of any potential changes: https://mybooking.hkexpress.com/en-hk/flight-status. Please arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to departure to allow sufficient time to complete the check-in process. If any assistance is required, please visit https://www.hkexpress.com/en-hk/need-help/customer-care/ to contact our Customer Connect Team (service hours: Mon–Sun, 08:00–20:00 HKT).
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate our passengers' patience and understanding.
