📢Eastbound Market Update
November demand remained soft, and spot rates fell due to oversupply. Carriers employed blank sailings and GRI measures to slow the decline.
For December, rates to USWC and USEC remain similar to late November levels, with only limited success in raising USWC rates. USEC rates stay flat near break-even.

📈 Outlook
A brief rebound in demand is expected before Chinese New Year, accompanied by an increase in blank sailings.
The 2026 Transpacific outlook remains flat as “China + 1” sourcing continues to grow, shifting more volume to Vietnam, Thailand, and India amid ongoing U.S. policy uncertainty.

Staying flexible and closely monitoring the market will be crucial in the coming months.

🚢 According to weekly analysis from Drewry, in the upcoming five weeks (Week 49-2025 to Week 01-2026), carriers have canceled 56 out of 719 planned sailings—about 8% of total departures. The distribution of cancellations is as follows:
Transpacific Eastbound: 48%
Asia–Europe/Med: 25%
Transatlantic Westbound: 27%

Despite these cancellations, 92% of departures are still scheduled to sail as planned.

At Fortune Freight Group, we bring deep expertise to complex OOG and project cargo movements.

We recently completed the import of a Circulation Mill Fan from Xingang, China to Kaohsiung, handling the full scope from receiving, loading, and lashing onto 4 x 40’ Flat Racks, totaling 49 metric tons.

With coordinated customs clearance and final delivery in Taiwan, the project was executed safely, compliantly, and on schedule.
