My portrait of the Dutch writer Yvonne Keuls has been officially approved and will soon be in the permanent collection of the Literature Museum in The Netherlands . I will be in Europe from 2 October till almost half November . I will be in the museum for the presentation.

Now the new website is finished and I delivered new photo's to Art Unlimited to make more postcards that will be sold in museum shops everywhere and not to forget that one of my paintings is going to a Dutch museum , I can relax a bit in my garden on the island Bali before I start painting again....
How peaceful is this....

Nog een paar dagen en ik vlieg weer terug naar Bali en ben pas in het najaar weer in Turnhout .
Vele schilderijen staan hier nog steeds te wachten op een nieuwe eigenaar.... Maak snel een afspraak...

I just realised that 1 painting has been stolen during the Fedex transport , somewhere between Bali and Belgium , but most likely where the tube has been opened : the customs in Brussels or afterwards . The tube was delivered to me without the top cover : it was cut off and not placed back , so it was all open to a greedy thief......

" 11 days after my su***de attempt " , self portrait .
This painting was sold at an exhibition in Bangkok, Thailand in 2012. Years after that I was able to buy it back , because it was to meaningful to me . I'm finished with it now , I have my peace with it....it was sold last week .

Ik reis vandaag vanuit Bali richting Turnhout/ België . Zou je me willen bezoeken , dan neem contact met me op. Ik blijf er tot 12 juni en ga dan weer terug naar de tropen.
Bijgaand een olieverf schilderij , 120 bij 80 cm.

Beste vrienden : ik ben vanaf 1 mei tot 12 juni wederom in Turnhout te België . Kom me vrijblijvend bezoeken na het maken van een afspraak . Ik ben makkelijk te bereiken via de snelweg Eindhoven - Antwerpen , slechts enkele minuten van de weg met veel parkeerruimte.
Bijgaand 3 portretten van eenzelfde vrouw zonder te letten op haar gelijkenis en daarmee 3 verschillende resultaten . Olieverf , acryl en houtskool op linnen . rond de 80 bij 40 cm.
