Every journey leaves an impression. Our Boarding Pass Art Series explores the stories, memories and sense of place that travel carries with it.

Bangkok-based textile artist Jakkai Siributr reimagines the familiar boarding pass through intricate hand embroidery on silk.

Drawing from the photographic archive of his maternal grandfather, HSH Prince Subha Svasti, Jakkai layers nostalgic scenes of Thailand with contemporary imagery and familiar symbols of travel.

The result brings past and present into dialogue, reflecting on place, identity and the memories we carry from one journey to the next.

Discover Jakkai’s Boarding Pass Art Series on your next journey, only at Plaza Premium First, Bangkok.
