Introducing Fleet Frontrunners, Fleet Management’s long-term initiative to develop future maritime leaders from within our seafaring community.

The future of maritime depends on strong leadership, and at Fleet Management, we believe the best way to build this is by nurturing talent from within.

Through structured mentoring, guidance and a clear path across key career stages, the programme supports steady growth, helping cadets build experience, confidence and leadership capability over time.

Much of the risk in shipping comes from everyday tasks, often carried out under pressure.

Our technology teams have been working to make PARIS easier to use and more relevant to each role, helping reduce unnecessary workload and communication.

Early changes are already making a difference - fewer steps, clearer information, and more time to focus on safe ex*****on.

We’ll keep listening, improving, and sharing what we learn to support safer operations across the industry.

Today, on International Day for Women in Maritime, we are sharing the individual journeys behind the roles at Fleet Management.

This year’s focus brings together the experiences of three women at different stages of their careers. From day-to-day responsibilities to the challenges they have faced, they share how support, experience and opportunity have shaped their confidence and capability over time.

Their perspectives offer a closer look at how women are building lasting careers at sea, and how learning and responsibility develop with each step forward.

Fleet Management expands its office in Kochi!

This new facility marks an important step in strengthening our support for seafarers. Located close to the International Container Transshipment Terminal, the 3,000‑square‑foot office brings our manning, technical and QHSE teams together under one roof and supports more than 3,000 Fleet seafarers.

Designed with people and sustainability in mind, the office features energy efficient systems, improved air quality and responsible resource use. Dedicated spaces for seafarer engagement and team meetings help encourage open dialogue and effective coordination.

Led by Sajan Thommachi, Deputy General Manager, Fleet Personnel Department, the Kochi office reinforces our long‑term commitment to our people, partners and the maritime community in Southern India.

We wish the Kochi team every success as they begin this next chapter!
