💚 World Mental Health Day

Today is a reminder that mental health matters, in logistics, in business, and in life. 🌍

The fast-paced world of airfreight can be demanding, but prioritising wellbeing makes us stronger as individuals and as a global network. 💡 Let’s keep supporting one another, building a culture of openness, balance, and care.

💬 Remember: Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

We asked our Network Manager, Rebecca, to sum up her experience at the LNF Convention in Istanbul… and let’s just say, the convention may have been too good for words! 😉

From an incredible venue and the warm welcome from Istanbul, to meaningful conversations and valuable connections with members from across the world, the convention delivered on what matters most: bringing our network together.

🎥 Hear from Rebecca as she shares what made the LNF Convention such a memorable experience.

Germany sits at the heart of European trade, with its strong infrastructure, manufacturing base and logistics network playing a vital role in keeping goods moving across the continent.

Today we are joining our German partners and forwarders in celebrating German Unity Day. 🗺️

From Frankfurt and Munich to destinations across the world, keeping air cargo moving takes strong partnerships, reliable connections and people working together across borders. These connections and strong regional networks are what make global trade possible.

✈️ World Tourism Day

Today, we celebrate the spirit of travel and the seamless movement of people, ideas, and cultures across borders. 🌍

As global travel reaches vibrant new heights in 2026, we are reminded of how interconnected our world truly is. For the logistics sector, the tourism industry does more than just unite communities, it actively fuels international trade. The steady expansion of passenger flight networks directly boosts the vital belly capacity that independent forwarders rely on to keep urgent cargo moving alongside travellers.

Here is to the shared networks, open skies, and strong partnerships that bring us all closer together! 🗺️

Meet the people behind the network. ✨ Jacob Pretorius, a key member of our Executive Team! ✈️

Jacob’s journey in logistics is a testament to dedication and hands-on expertise. He grew up in a small town in the North of South Africa, where his father was a cattle farmer, before stepping into the airfreight industry in 2010 as a data capturer in an airfreight warehouse. Over the last 16 years, he has worked his way up through various operational and commercial sales roles to become the Airfreight General Manager for S**O Shipping, bringing an invaluable, ground-up understanding of supply chains to the ACG network. 📦

Known for keeping things professional, and filled with a good sense of humour, Jacob believes that strong logistics are built on reliable relationships. When he’s not navigating the skies and keeping airfreight moving, you will find him spending quiet time at home with his family or playing a round of golf when time permits.

Thank you, Jacob, for your outstanding leadership, your industry-leading expertise, and the great energy you bring to the AirCargoGroup family! 🤝

Networks don’t only live at conferences.

Engage on WhatsApp groups, member portals, and online forums. The most successful members stay visible and connected between events, not just during them.
