「我希望讓人知道,香港人不只做得到,還可以做得好」 ~ Gary Tat, Aircraft Engineer, "Inspiration Team", (WYK, 2000)
Congratulations to the first and ever made-in-Hong Kong aircraft "Inspiration" B-KOO for its trial flight! It tells us not only Hong Konger can make it, but can also make it good. While the team has paid 7 years on purchasing their dream, how much effort, time, and hard work would you sacrifice for your dream?

First person thank you note from our Captain Hank Cheng.
“For the past 24 hours I have been swamped with warm messages and an epic scale of 洗版. Thank you everyone for their warm wishes and congrats.
Building an RV is nothing new to the aviation community, there are 9224 RV series aircraft flying in the world yesterday, I am merely #9225. There is a good reason why there isn't a single homebuilt registered under Hong Kong, and that is because it's difficult. We were told to give up because there are so many hurdles that no one has done it before, I might have misinterpreted that as "We challenge you to be the first one to do this!", so game on!
The real achievement is to certified and registered the aircraft in HK. I had the easy part of putting the parts together and fly it. Hat off to Gary Tat who took the challenge of certification straight on, without his effort, B-KOO would never fly in Hong Kong.
Thank you all my friends, who listened to my endless rant about the BS I had to go through. A lot of friends participated in the build at various phases of the construction. Only Michael stayed for the entire length of the project. He is a source of strength, he doesn't say much, all I need is watch him work and that's all it takes to motivate me to carry on. I know he was with me yesterday, I hope he will take B-KOO up once in a while, in a place where one can fly freely.
There are hundreds of people I need to thank you. Instead of mentioning here, I think a drink should be in order.
Heartfelt thanks again for all your support! Here's the sunrise at 5000' yesterday”
