- Saying goodbye to B-HLJ: the world’s first A330
在一片晴空下，為旅客服務24年的客機，世上首架A330—B-HLJ 完成她最後任務，正式光榮退役。來自法國的B-HLJ，曾經是世上最大的雙引擎飛機，並於1996年加入我們，24年間相繼服務國泰及國泰港龍機隊的她，總共飛航63,900小時及26,983程航班，成為我們其中一輛標誌性客機。在7月17日這天，她終要離別每天穿梭的雲端，以另一面貌與大家再會。就讓我們向她好好道別，為她的辛勞致敬。
After 24 years of loyal service, B-HLJ, the world’s first Airbus A330, departed for its final assignment under clear blue skies. Assembled in France, B-HLJ was once the world’s largest twinjet. In 1996, it joined Cathay Pacific and Cathay Dragon and served both fleets successively for 24 years. Taking to the skies for the last time on 17 July, our iconic passenger aircraft concluded 63,900 hours and 26,983 cycles of service. Here’s to a lifetime of globetrotting!
