Custom medals created for Motor City Tri & Du – Detroit, USA 🇺🇸
We recently completed 205 custom triathlon and duathlon medals for a USA endurance event.
The medal was produced with:
✔ Custom zinc alloy mold
✔ 3D relief structure
✔ Bright nickel plating
✔ Soft enamel colors
✔ Glitter enamel details
✔ Custom printed ribbon
Our factory handled the complete process from production artwork to final packing.
For race organizers, the medal is often the last thing athletes receive — but one of the things they remember the longest.

Another custom challenge coin project completed.
For this Chile Navy commemorative coin, our factory produced 205 pcs with:
✔ Double-sided 3D relief
✔ Zinc alloy die casting
✔ Antique bronze finish
✔ Soft enamel coloring
✔ Custom rope edge design
Our team managed the complete process from mold development to final shipment.

Another real championship ring project completed for Canada.

This batch was made for the Golden Prairie Cup CPA event — 30 custom rings in total.

The design uses a zinc alloy body with gold plating, black and red enamel, raised 3D details and 108 CZ stones on every ring.

That includes 32 blue stones and 76 clear stones.

What made this project interesting was the amount of detail packed into a relatively small order. The front, both side panels, stone positions and enamel areas all had to work together in one production structure.

After production, we checked all 30 pieces together before packing and shipping them to Canada by DHL.

A championship deserves more than a standard trophy.
This custom bodybuilding award was developed for a Thailand fitness event.
The finished trophy combines:
- Detailed athlete sculpture
- Premium antique gold surface
- Personalized award plate
- Solid wooden base

A 150mm hollow-out medal is very different from producing a standard 60–70mm solid medal.
For this Prairie Cup project, the main challenge was keeping the thin sun rays, open sections and suspended GOLDEN letters stable throughout production.
Our process included:
Production drawing → 3D mold model → CNC mold → zinc alloy die casting → punching → hand polishing → matte antique gold plating → ribbon assembly.
The raw casting photos are especially useful because they show the medal before the plating hides any surface work.

This project was for 1,000 double-sided 120mm medals.
The finished medal looks simple when you hold it in your hand, but getting 1,000 pieces to look consistent is where factory control matters.
For large bodybuilding and fitness medals, we pay particular attention to mold depth, casting completeness, surface polishing, plating consistency and enamel edges.

For this project, the customer didn’t want a standard-size finisher medal.
They went with a 5-inch custom medal, which gave us enough room to keep the tropical artwork detailed while using a large blue glitter background.
Matte nickel metal borders separate the enamel colors and give the artwork more definition. From the side, you can also see the 3 mm metal body and the raised structure much more clearly.
Finished with a full-color Aloha Run ribbon and produced as a 400-piece order.
A good example of how size, relief, glitter and ribbon design can all work together without making the medal feel overcrowded.

From logo to finished race medal.

For this BigFish Tri & Du project, we handled the full production process in-house:

client artwork → production drawing → mold → zinc alloy casting → bright nickel plating → soft enamel → baking → ribbon assembly → QC → packing.

The final medal measured about 101.6 × 98 mm, with a 3 mm thickness and a custom irregular shape.

150 medals completed and packed for delivery.

For us, the goal is always the same: keep the character of the customer’s artwork while making sure the design works cleanly in real metal.
