In Moyu Old Town, an 82-year-old farmer paints poplar trees on mulberry paper — one stroke, no sketch. The paper takes eight steps to make, a craft passed down for centuries.
In Tuancheng, a woman weaves a double-sided carpet row by row, thread by thread. Woven entirely by hand. And when you flip it over, the sky blue side becomes deep indigo. The same carpet, two colors. A rare double-sided weaving skill that only a few artisans still know.
Kids run up to say hello. Elders invite you for tea. Families live upstairs and run shops downstairs.
Nobody performs life here. They just live it.
